This training is a prerequisite for entry into GALP – Sines Refinery.

ISQ Academy is a recognized and authorized training entity by GALP to provide Safety Inductions for:

• Sines Refinery
• Alkylation
• SIGAS

The goal of this training is to ensure that all participants:

• Know and apply the health, safety, and environmental procedures effective at Sines Refinery.
• Are familiar with the Life-Saving Rules.
• Understand how Work Permits function and the emergency procedures in place.
• Comply with the rules for using work equipment, personal protective equipment, and protocols for access and presence within this facility.

All workers who are employed at or intend to work at Sines Refinery (GALP).

Entry requirements:

• Ability to read and write in English.
• For real-time online training – personal email address; computer, tablet, or smartphone and internet connection.

SCHEDULE:

11:00 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. (Portugal time)

This training will take place online in real time via Zoom.

Good practices in online trainig (mandatory)

• Each participant must connect from an individual computer with the camera on and the microphone operational throughout the entire session.
• Alternatively, a mobile phone may also be used, under the same conditions.
• A stable Internet connection is required, and participation should take place from an appropriate location, free from noise and distractions.
• The connection must be made at the scheduled start time.

Assessment and Final Certificate.

To obtain the professional training certificate, the following requirements must be met:

• 100% attendance (2 hours of actual presence).
• Achieve a minimum score of 80% on the assessment test.
• Participants who do not have a video record for the entire course will not be certified.

This course is available in the following languages – Portuguese, English and Spanish, and can be organized at the client’s premises. Request a proposal!

The holding of this course depends on the number of registrations made and paid up to 5 working days before the scheduled date of the course. In case of withdrawal, a refund is only possible with 5 working days’ prior notice. If the minimum number of enrollments is not reached, the course will not take place. Registered participants will be notified (by email or phone) to attend a newly scheduled training date.
